Is DJ Sent the DJ and MC?
Yes. DJ Sent personally provides both the DJ and MC.
TmlSound is the service/business name, and DJ Sent is the person behind TmlSound. You are not booking separate people for the DJ and MC.
Can DJ Sent MC in Tamil?
Yes. DJ Sent can MC in:
Tamil • French • English
This can be particularly useful when families and guests speak different languages.
What type of weddings do you cover?
We specialise in Hindu, Tamil and South Asian weddings, including wedding mornings, receptions and evening parties.
Do you cover the Hindu wedding in the morning as well as the reception?
Yes.
We can provide DJ and MC services for both the morning wedding celebration and the evening reception, depending on your requirements.
What time do you arrive for a morning wedding?
For morning wedding events, we aim to arrive around 6:00–7:00am, before the guests arrive, so there is enough time to set up, test everything and make sure we're ready.
Do you help choose entrance songs?
Yes.
If you're unsure which song to use, DJ Sent can help you choose music for your couple entrance, family entrances, dance performances, first dance and other important moments.
Do you have a consultation before the wedding?
Yes.
We arrange a video call consultation before the wedding to go through your plans for both the morning and evening.
How long is the consultation?
It depends on the wedding and how much there is to plan.
Some consultations may be shorter, while others can take 1–2 hours when there are lots of songs, performances, timings and special moments to discuss.

Do you take song requests?
Yes.
Requests from the couple and guests are welcome. DJ Sent can also adjust the music during the evening depending on the atmosphere and the dance floor.
Can you provide microphones for Nadaswaram and the Iyer?
Yes. For Hindu wedding mornings, we can provide up to 6 microphones for Nadaswaram/live instruments, plus 1–2 microphones for the Iyer, depending on the ceremony requirements.
What type of music do you play?
Depending on the event, music can include:
Tamil • Bollywood • Bhangra • Malayalam • English • International
Tamil love songs, Tamil film music and kuthu are also an important part of what we do.
Do you provide sound and lighting?
Yes.
TmlSound can provide professional event production, including Martin Audio sound, BSW/CRO lighting, wireless uplighting, LED screens, dance floors and special effects.
How many wireless uplights can you provide?
We can provide up to 34 wireless uplights, depending on the event requirements.
What LED screens do you provide?
We offer P1.9 and P2.5 LED screen options, depending on the event and venue.
They can be used for photographs, videos, names, logos, graphics and other visuals.
What types of dance floors do you provide?
Options include:
3D dance floors
Custom vinyl dance floors
White LED dance floors
Black LED dance floors
Custom vinyl floors can include your names, initials, wedding logo or design.
What special effects do you provide?
Depending on the venue and event, we can provide:
Dry ice / low fog
Haze
Sparkulars
Confetti cannons
CO₂ guns
These can be used for entrances, first dances, performances and other key moments.
Can I have special effects at my venue?
This depends on the venue and its rules.
All special effects are discussed and planned according to the venue requirements, permissions and safety restrictions.
Do you provide parties other than weddings?
Yes.
TmlSound also provides DJ, MC and production for:

Do you cover Sri Lanka?
Yes.
TmlSound provides selected Sri Lanka wedding services between November and March, working with a local production team.
We can cover locations including Colombo and Jaffna, subject to availability.
Why is Sri Lanka special to DJ Sent?
DJ Sent was born in Manipay, Jaffna, before growing up in France.
Sri Lanka therefore has a genuine personal connection for him.
Do you travel outside London?
Yes. TmlSound can cover events across London and the UK, depending on availability and event requirements.
Do you provide everything as one package?
We can provide different combinations depending on what you need.
For example, you may require:
DJ + MC only
or
DJ + MC + Sound + Lighting
or a more complete production including:
LED + Dance Floor + Uplighting + Special Effects
We'll discuss your requirements and recommend what is appropriate rather than adding equipment you don't need.
Do you charge a travel fee for events outside London?
No. We cover our own travel costs for events across the UK, including cities such as Glasgow, Liverpool, Coventry and other locations outside London.
How do I check availability?
