Hi, I'm DJ Sent, the person behind TmlSound.

I was born in Manipay, Jaffna, and grew up in France. I've always had a strong connection with Tamil music, Tamil films and the celebrations that bring families and friends together.

I can speak and MC in Tamil, French and English, which allows me to connect with different generations and families throughout a wedding or event.

TmlSound didn't start as a big production company.

It started with small family events, where I was simply doing what I enjoyed, playing music and creating a good atmosphere.

Over time, those small events led to more celebrations, weddings and larger productions.

What started small has grown into TmlSound today, but I still keep the same personal approach to every event.

TmlSound is the service. DJ Sent is the person behind it.

I was born in Jaffna, and Tamil music has always been part of my life.

I enjoy watching Tamil films and listening to Tamil songs, particularly Tamil love songs and kuthu.

At the same time, every wedding is different. Depending on the couple and their guests, the music can include:

Tamil • Bollywood • Bhangra • Malayalam • English • International • French • Baila

The aim isn't simply to play a playlist.

It's about watching the room, understanding the guests and knowing when to change the music to keep the atmosphere going.

One thing that makes TmlSound different is that I personally provide both the DJ and MC.

You don't have to book one person for the music and another person to handle the announcements.

I can MC in:

Because I'm handling both sides, I can connect the music, announcements and timings together throughout the event.

Before your wedding, we'll discuss the running order, important moments, songs and your preferences so I know exactly what you're looking for.

For me, DJing isn't about standing behind a DJ booth all night.

I enjoy seeing people enjoy themselves.

I take requests from the couple and guests, and I watch the dance floor to see what people are responding to.

Sometimes guests even come behind the DJ booth and dance with me while I'm DJing.

That's the kind of atmosphere I enjoy creating.

The wedding day is only one part of the process.

Before your event, we arrange a video call consultation to go through the plans for the morning and evening.

Depending on the wedding, these conversations can take 1–2 hours.

We'll go through things such as:

• Wedding itinerary

• Reception itinerary

• Entrance songs

• Family entrances

• Dance performances

• First dance

• Speeches

• Cake cutting

• Special songs

• Announcements

• Music preferences

If you're unsure about an entrance song or what music might work for a particular moment, I'm happy to help you choose.

The goal is to make sure we know the plan before the wedding day arrives.

TmlSound = Tamil Sound

It started with small family events and grew from there.

Today, TmlSound provides DJ, MC and event production for weddings, parties and celebrations across the UK, as well as selected Sri Lanka weddings.

But the personal side has never changed.

I am still personally involved in the planning, music and entertainment for your event.

And for those planning a wedding in Sri Lanka, TmlSound can also provide production services during November to March, working with a local team in locations including Colombo and Jaffna.
